Date Night Gift Basket

I'd love to give more homemade gifts, but that's not always possible. When I do get the opportunity to take the time for a homemade gift, I spend a lot of time on the presentation. 

​This year, I made "Date Night" gift baskets for Joel's dad and step-mom, as well as for my parents. Both couples were so thrilled with this gift that we were thanked several times! 

Follow these steps to make your own "Date Night" gift basket:

Materials:

• Box or basket
• Styrofoam block or half circle
• Artificial flowers
• Removable glue dots
• Gift cards (Dinner, Movie, Dessert)
• Blank tag

Steps:

1. Cut stems of flowers and arrange, sticking stems into styrofoam.
2. Don't waste and save money! Take the leftover stems from the artificial flowers, cut 4 pieces staggered in size to connect the gift cards to. 
3. Connect gift cards to the stems with removable glue dots.
4. Place cards in styrofoam at different levels. 
5. Make your date night tag and place that in the same way you inserted the gift cards.
6. Ta-da - You've got a quick and thoughtful gift for the special couples in your life!
