After last election season I became a sponge for news, especially news that revolved around politics. I hopped from site to site daily seeking the most honest information I could find. In my quest, I ran across The New Yorker.
Time after time an article would catch my interest and when I looked at the source it was commonly The New Yorker. Their writing is honest, witty and thought provoking. When I read the articles, I feel like I'm reading something someone left on a table at the library full of their thoughts and ponderings. The articles are obviously based on the truth, but there's something philosophical about the way the articles are composed. A fan of philosophy, I think that's what hooked me.
I kept running out of articles on their website each month so I broke down and bought a subscription. I chose to get the magazine and full access to their website. Twelve weeks for twelve bucks. It has been the best twelve dollars I've spent in a long time.
I hope you'll stay educated on the current political climate, and find a publication that speaks the truth and holds your attention long enough to read it all the way through - no matter how painful. It's more important to pay attention now than any other time.
