Harem Pants Have My Heart

I have been (overly) into a less exaggerated form of harem pants over the past few months. I have a collection of about five pairs of different cuts and colors that I scored at a deep discount. I wear them casually with flats and professionally with heels.

I absolutely love how comfortable they are and I feel really confident in them...Mostly because I love any pant or skirt with a high waist that falls at the smallest part of my body, just below my ribs. I also like how they taper at and accentuate the ankle, because that is another area of my body that I like to draw attention to.

The grey pair of pants pictured below ride a little lower, but still have a fairly high waist. I normally pair these pants with a fitted t-shirt or top to balance the volume of the pant. In this particular outfit, I wore one of my favorite pairs of heels that are made of a cool grey mixed with black, faux snakeskin. I prefer heels with these pants, again, to help balance the volume. I'm short and I don't think these pants are really made for someone of my height...Heels help me pull of this look, otherwise I look a little "squat."

I'd encourage you to take a risk and try a pair of these pants out. You won't regret it, based on comfort factor alone!
